SEVIERVILLE, TN – Sevier County Bank recently announced that David Howard has joined the company as senior vice president of commercial lending.
"David is well established in the marketplace and has demonstrated remarkable skill throughout his years of banking," said Director of Lending Randy Roberson. "He is a special talent; we are fortunate to have someone of his knowledge and experience joining our team."
Most recently Howard served BB&T, where he was a commercial loan portfolio manager before joining Sevier County Bank. Howard has 32 years’ experience in credit administration and lending.
"I enjoyed my time with BB&T; they really have good people there," Howard said. "But I wanted to return to a community bank. You can be more hands-on in helping customers achieve their goals and dreams."
Howard is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. His community activities include Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee and Junior Achievement of East Tennessee. David is based out of the Seymour SCB branch.
