Sevier County Bank makes $1000 donation to Sevier County
Sevier County Bank employees presented the Sevier County Humane Society with a $1,000 gift and a large donation of pet food and supplies to honor their late employee and animal lover, Tammy Layman.
“This really is a tribute to Tammy and a special way to honor her memory,” said Cheri Hagmeier, Sevier County Humane Society Vice President. Funds will be used to enhance the society’s ‘meet & greet’ play yard by constructing a lean-to that will protect animals, staff and potential adopters from rain and sun. “This improvement is especially important to us now due to COVID-19 restrictions that do not allow the public into our building,” said Hagmeier. A plaque honoring Tammy will be displayed in the new lean-to.
